The four-seater sofa, an elegant and generously-proportioned reinterpretation of one of the most iconic pieces from the Poltrona Frau Archives, the artisan mastery and zest for perfection, which have been the hallmark of Poltrona Frau since its beginnings, can be seen in the capitonné effect workmanship and in the series of tacks that give a finishing touch to the leather on the backs of the seats. 

 

The Chester One sofa maintains the features of the classic model designed by Renzo Frau: the famous capitonné processing, the curved armrest, the series of pins that refines the Pelle Frau® leather upholstery.  

 

The vegetable horsehair of the padding in the backrest and armrests is hand-modelled. The springs are eight-way springs, tied by hand and supported on jute webbing. The frame is in seasoned beech-wood. The upholstering is in Pelle Frau® leather. The seat cushions, padded with goose down with an insert in polyurethane foam are Pelle Frau® leather.
