uma’s habitat in a church

Atelier Uma is housed in a church in the south of The Netherlands. The location breaths heritage and is the ideal backdrop for the twentieth treasures we collect. With 3 different settings and the authentic kitchen as the gastronomic heart we are able to create contrasting vibes.

THE

SACRISTY

When in the early 80's the church was still in use it was the sacristy where the priest prepared for service and where vestments and articles of worship are kept.

The Sacristy is a daylight studio of 60m2 that is adjacent to the kitchen and outside terrace. This room is ideal for photoshoots, creative meetings and a showroom.

THE

CHURCH

This is where couples married, children were baptized and the priest held his services. It's not in use since the 80's but still a serene place.

Behind the classic wooden door in the sacristy you will find a lofty space with 10 mtr high ceilings and the domes with protected artwork of Strawinsky. The linen draped curtains and chandelier are a lovely backdrop for the midcentury treasures we have collected along the way.

Event

location

The location has been used for several inspiring events. From catwalk shows & diners to fashion shoots or short-stay showroom.
